Subsea Applications for Oil and Gas Pressure Transmitters and Transducers
For more than twenty years, Stellar Technology pressure transducers and transmitters have been used for subsea applications, from BOP stacks to subsea control modules (SCM) to AUVs and ROVs. Stellar Technology has the pressure transducers needed to meet customer demands for reliability and longevity of subsea instrumentation control systems.
Bonded foil strain gage technology is the sensing technology used for our subsea pressure transducers because of its proven reliability, durability, temperature stability and flexibility for multiple design configurations.
The mechanical connection for most of Stellar Technology’s subsea pressure transducers used on control systems is an API flange with customer specified probe lengths to the process flow.
Our customers can also specify the type of material (Inconel, Duplex, powder coated carbon steel, etc.) as well as the electrical receptacle. We can design and manufacture any type of mechanical interface specified by the customer. External pressure ratings are good to 4,000m. Our subsea wellbore sensors have both ABS and DNV certifications.
