Stellar Technology offers the Series LSU61X short stroke precision LVDT, ideally suited for applications where dynamic measurement is needed but space is limited. This DC/DC displacement sensor operates from unregulated power supplies of +24 Vdc to +40 Vdc or dual ±12 Vdc to ±20 Vdc. Model LSU61X utilizes an internal amplifier to generate a ±5 Vdc output signal and the internal electronics include a filter circuit. The armature covers a stroke from ±0.10 to ±0.40 inches and is loose-fit (unguided) in the bore of the LVDT. Precise alignment along the bore produces a frictionless movement and long sensor life.

The Series LWU is a family of submersible LVDT displacement transducers available in either DC or AC versions. These units are specifically designed for use in sea water and other submersible environments, including many corrosive liquids. The LWU Series features unguided armatures with stroke lengths from 0.5” to 4” and linearity of +/- 1%. Operating temperature is from -40 to 140 deg.F.

These displacement transducers are ruggedly constructed of all stainless steel and are able to withstand harsh underwater environments as found in mining, upstream oilfield, geophysical, and industrial processes.

Stellar Technology Inc. has combined its innovative electronics and proven sensor technology to introduce a new miniature load cell with internal signal conditioning.  This unique product, the Series MIN840, is a 0.15% accuracy force sensor that measures both tension and compression forces with either high level analog output or digital output.  Standard high level analog outputs are 4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, and 0-10 Vdc.  Standard digital outputs are RS232, RS485, CANbus (J-1939 and CANopen).

Stellar Technology Inc, offers the new Model FT29XX amplified pressure transducer. This rugged all-welded stainless steel sensor combines a standard NPTmale process connection with a flush diaphragm.  In addition, the FT29XX pressure transmitter is designed with internal signal conditioning. Customers can select 4-20mA current outputs, numerous voltage outputs, as well as digital outputs including RS232, RS485, and CANbus. The unique design of the isolation diaphragm reduces stress levels normally caused by torquing a tapered thread into the mating fitting. The FT29XX introduces zero dead volume to the fixturing and resists the accumulation of residue that can clog traditional pressure ports. The sensing element is machined from a single piece of steel, making the FT29XX insensitive to shock and vibration. This unit is ideal for metering and dispensing operations, for the application of sealants and paints, or anywhere a flush diaphragm unit is desired.

The Series FT31XX clean-in-place (CIP) pressure transmitters are designed specifically to meet the rigorous demands of the wet and hostile environments of industrial process applications that use a flush diaphragm and Tri-Clover flange clamps. These pressure transmitters incorporate a one-piece, non-welded diaphragm for reliable performance and long life in process applications such as homogenizers, heat exchangers, filters, pasteurizers, emulsifiers, surge tanks, and biopharmaceutical mixers. In addition, the FT31XX design does not use an oil fill, thus eliminating the possibility of process contamination.

The Series CNR960 and CNR96XX are high capacity and high accuracy tension/compression load cells specifically designed to resist the affects of extraneous bending and off-axis loading. Ideal for test and measurement applications requiring long fatigue life, this particularly robust canister design is rated in excess of 100 million fully reversed cycles at full scale.

Both units cover ranges from 25,000 to 2,000,000 lbf. The CNR960 provides a 2mV/V full scale output (nom) and the amplified CNR96XX provides analog or digital output including RS-232, RS485, MODbus, and CANbus. Standard operating temperature is from -65°to +250°F, compensated from 70°to 170°F. Static accuracy specs include ±0.2% linearity, ±0.2% hysteresis, and repeatability of ±0.05% (FSO).

Stellar Technology’s Series RDE905 load cells are rod-end configurations for both in-line compression and in-line tension force applications. Standard accuracy is 0.25% FS and the units are available in ranges from 2,500 to 5,000lbf. The RDE905 features shock and vibration protection and the robust design is able to withstand extreme side, bending, and torque loads of up to 20% of full scale.

Constructed of all-welded stainless steel, these bonded foil, strain-gage force sensors are compact in size and provide reliable performance for demanding applications. Standard operating temperature is -65°to 250°F with -320°to 400°F available as an option.
